Are Long-Distance Relationships Real Relationships?
The pros and cons of long-distance love
People are going to meet online, and often this turns into more. It’s a convenient way to meet, easier than in person. When you use a dating app, the point is to connect with people that are local or close by. However, if you meet someone through social media or other methods you might find yourself in a long-distance relationship.
I did several times and I more than likely will again, it’s my preferred way of meeting people.
The question is, are these types of relationships real? I don't mean are the people real, we know there are catfish out there. But assuming both parties are who they say they are, is the relationship itself real?

Long-distance relationships count as relationships. Being in one does not make you single or alone. You invest time, effort, and emotions into them. If you haven't been in a long-distance relationship then it may seem as if these relationships aren't as legit. If you have been in one you get it.
When you video chat or talk on the phone, you get the same butterflies you do in person. The process of getting to know each other, sharing your daily life…
