There has been so much going on in the world in the past few years that it can be very easy to get burned out. Especially if you are someone who works in a helping profession. No matter what you do each day, if your empathy level is high, you are likely to feel burned out from time to time. Now more than ever. It is vital to find balance and restore yourself if this is the case.

What is compassion fatigue?

It means you are running too much empathy, which is outgiving energy and not getting enough return energy. In other words, to be giving and not getting. People who give every day either through work (paid or not paid) will feel it the most.

Caregivers, health care workers, parents, teachers, counselors, life coaches, healers, psychics, intuitive, and empaths in all walks of life are likely to feel a great deal of empathy as we watch upsetting events in the world unfold. We have been doing this since the start of the Pandemic, and it seems as if we are getting hit with one thing after another ever since.
