I didn't know there were groups on medium until recently.

I have heard they have had to slash earnings, I wonder if that is happening to the highest paid writers on the platform. My feeling is it's the mid-range writers that took the biggest hit.

Like you, my earnings have been cut in half this month. Views haven't gone down just earnings. So, I thought I'd give the group thing a try. If nothing else it's a way to meet other writers :)
