If You Hunch When You Are on Your Devices, Stop!
My experience with costochondritis, a condition brought about by the ihunch
If you hunch when you are on your phone, tablet, or laptop, you will want to listen to my story.
It all started when I got a routine flu shot, that would turn my world turned upside down. A few hours after getting the shot, it felt like I couldn't breathe and like my chest was on fire on the inside.
At the ER the doctors ran tests on my heart everything came back fine. They referred me to a pulmonologist who ran more tests and put me on every type of imaginable asthma inhaler available. I am still going through side effects from those, but that is another story.
After months of getting nowhere, the pulmonologist sent me to a specialist, another pulmonologist, who ran more tests. Everything came back fine. More months dragged on, while I awaited more tests.
Finally, I was told it might be something called costochondritis, which has to do with the joints and cartilage of the ribs. I was referred to a rheumatologist but his routine tests only ruled out anything more serious.
