Who you were and who you knew before influence this lifetime
We live many lives, and we gather a lot of experiences in the process. You may have been a monarch, peasant, politician, actor, farmer, pilot, or monk. Imagine the different ways you would have viewed your world.
Imagine the things you learned in those lives.
Each life we live creates karma, memories that move us in a certain direction. If you had a life where you were a judge, perhaps you were cruel and harsh with your penalties. You might then live a life to balance that out, where you worked to help people who were victimized by the judicial system.
If you lived a life where you were a monk, learning great compassion, you might come back as a teacher. To carry out the compassion lessons you learned before. This time having more access to others.
One life connects to another, and another. A great tapestry is being woven by your soul in this very moment. You are forever adding to it, with each experience. It may seem that life is random, but there is intelligence behind it.
There is purpose and direction.
