5 things we can’t afford to forget
It seemed, until now, too soon to speak of the pandemic in hindsight. As if it wasn’t quite over, and while there are still many things that are not normal, we seem to be making steady progress in the right direction.
As with anything life-altering we can go into a state of shock and miss a lot of learning opportunities. If our tendency is to want things to get back to normal as soon as possible, we might miss out on some important insights.
The first four lessons on this list are for everyone, think of them as group lessons, the last one is individual and will be different for everyone.
Working from home (remote work) is doable
As so many people learned, we can do a lot more remotely than we realized. This not only shapes the landscape of the work world but also opens the door for people to live where they want. Living more affordably or closer to family. The fewer commuters out on the roads every day also lessens the impact on the environment.
We pollute wayyy too much
Remember the images from space of how much less pollution was on the planet when we were all in lockdown? As factories shut down and transportation slowed down…
