Past Life Vows
Do they still affect you today?
Let’s say you were a monk in a past lifetime. Imagine, living in a drafty monastery high in the mountains. The morning bells chime calling you to meditation. Your world is only about practice and service. Due to your devotion, you willingly took vows of poverty, silence, and celibacy. In hopes of releasing the trappings of the world and dedicating yourself to the pursuit of enlightenment.
That was then and this is now, right?
While you may not be living in a monastery high in the mountains any longer, those vows can still influence you today. Especially when they were taken with conviction like vows often are.
How vows affect you today
There are three vows that you would have taken in a monastic life and they will affect you a little differently. Some people take all three, some don't, and others will only have one or two that still influence them today no matter how many they took.
Poverty
Trouble attracting and keeping financial abundance. This is one of the most common vows I have seen come up in my work as an intuitive reader. We may want (and need) money very much but in the past life, we made a vow to actively push it away. The result today is a lingering rejection of money.
