If you like to work magic but find traditional spells a little time-consuming a spell jar might be your answer. A simple, and easy method to create a spell and have a nice-looking jar after. Perfect to give for gifts, or to effectively work your magic for yourself!
What is a spell jar?
Much like it sounds a spell jar, also known as a witch bottle is a spell placed inside and sealed in a jar. The jar can be any size or shape. Although, after trying a few, I found smaller was better so I didn't have to use a lot of each ingredient.
I first learned about spell jars when finding a book about them. According to Allegra Grant in “Your First Spell Jar”, spell jars have been around for centuries. They can be buried, carried in a pocket or purse, placed under your bed or under your pillow, or on an altar. Or as mentioned, given as gifts.
What type of spells can you put into a jar?
