The Secret Life of a Spirit Guide
An inside look at what it’s like to be a guide
Being an intuitive reader has its perks. Each day when I go to work, whether it is to do a reading for someone or to write an article, I connect with my guides. I think of my guides as a blend of coworkers and family. I work with them, but like family, they are always around throughout all the ups and downs of life.
One of the perks is being able to see things from their side. Not my side, coming from the physical world that we all know so well. But rather, from the other side, the afterlife. For those who choose to be guides, it means they are connected to the physical world still, only in a different way.
A spirit guide (or any guide) “lives” alongside us. Going through the ups and downs of our lives. Yet, for most of us, we don’t even know about them. If we do, there is so much we are still unaware of. Making their existence a bit secretive.
I asked one of my guides what it was like to be a guide, and this is the answer I got…
It’s a lot like having a child, a close friend, or anyone you love go through things in life. You stand by them, support them in every way you can but in the end, the experiences are theirs and they have to go through them.
