Chakras are energy centers located in different areas of the body. They are also known as the tree of life centers in the Kabbalah. They move in a spiral and are meant to flow energy through you. They can become blocked or stagnant. They can be cut off from other chakras as well. It is important to not only know about them but to keep them moving.

As you read through what each chakra represents place your focus on that part of your body and get a feeling of whether it is moving or stuck. If it feels stuck place your hand above the chakra and move it clockwise. Sounds simple but not only can it get the energy moving, but it also puts you in touch with your energy centers and body. The more tuned in you are with your body, the more you can stay in balance.

What Each Chakra Represents

Each chakra will have the color, the part of the body it corresponds with, and the meaning connected with it.

Crown Chakra (7th)

Color, purple, the pineal. Wisdom, connection with higher consciousness. This is the energy center that connects you with your soul, guidance from your higher self, and guides.

Third Eye Chakra (6th)
